As the Assistant Manager - Email Marketing/Lead Generation, you will lead the strategic development, execution, and continuous optimization of email marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing engagement and driving conversions. You will be responsible for crafting persuasive content, managing list segmentation, scheduling, and analyzing performance metrics for impactful outcomes. Additionally, you will build and mentor a high-performing team aligned with the company's growth goals.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement email marketing and lead generation strategies, incorporating CRM management and team development (data researchers, pre-sales).
  • Build, manage, and mentor a team, ensuring growth and addressing talent gaps as needed.
  • Design and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and drive results.
  • Create and manage a strategic email marketing calendar that aligns with company offerings and key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, content, analytics and design teams to deliver impactful, targeted campaigns that engage the audience.
  • Build, segment, and maintain an email database, ensuring effective and personalized communication based on customer behavior.
  • Create compelling email content, including persuasive copy and visually engaging designs, while optimizing templates for responsiveness.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (deliverability, open rates, CTRs, conversions), track responses, and generate data-driven reports to optimize future campaigns.

Skills & experience required to Succeed in this role:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in email marketing and lead generation.
  • Strong proficiency with email marketing tools, analytics, and advanced list segmentation strategies.
  • Expertise in content creation with a keen eye for design, along with hands-on experience in A/B testing and performance optimization.
  • In-depth understanding of USA and INDIA markets, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a focus on detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
